Hidden in the middle of the reserve, Swift is our romantic escape. Reached by a long driveway and tucked among the trees, this one-bedroom cabin features a four-poster bed and a jacuzzi-style bathtub, making it a favorite for couples' getaways. The lounge features a cast-iron gas stove that contributes to the cozy ambiance. French doors lead to your private verandah.
Fully equipped and comfortably furnished, it has everything you need - except Wi-fi.

Our property can be a little difficult to find using GPS. Take the Allerthorpe exit from the roundabout @ A1079, and shortly turn left at the sign "Chicory Farm". (it can be hard to see when the hedgerow is overgrown!)
Following the road to the right, you will pass through an open gate. Stay to the right and drive over the weighbridge that makes a noise as you drive over, there will be a small storage shed to your right. Now stay to the left and follow the sign for SWIFT, it will be the first private driveway to your left.
The key will be in the front door, left open.

A lovely getaway
This little lodge is a perfect couples get away, while still being close to amenities and shops the lodge really does make you feel in the middle of nowhere, perfect for relaxing.
Mr and Mrs
In the most lovely setting the cabin was delightful. It was clean and fully equipped with lovely decor. It is totally secluded with a beautiful lake view. You would never guess that this little paradise is so close to all amenities and lots of places to visit. We will definitely be back.
The swift cabin
Beautiful rustic cabin. Idealic weekend get away. Clean and well equipped. Lots of wildlife to watch. Will definitely be visiting again to wind down from the pressures of life.

We stayed in the Swift Lodge which was ever so cozy and welcoming! It had the most beautiful views & surroundings. Also, we were lucky enough for it to snow which made it that little bit more special. It was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet & peaceful getaway. Would recommend it! xx
Idyillic cabin
